At Delizia we take food safety very seriously.
That is why we have a comprehensive Food Safety Program that is monitored by various departments as outlined below.
Brisbane City Council
All food businesses in Brisbane receive a food safety star rating at the end of a food safety audit conducted by an authorised Brisbane City Council Environmental Health Officer.
Delizia has maintained a 5-star rating since the implementation of this scheme. This means we are an excellent performer, fully compliant with the Food Act 2006 and overall very high standard of food safety management practices.
HaCCP Program
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) is an internationally recognized method of identifying and managing food safety related risk and, when central to an active food safety program provides our customers, the public, Safe Food Qld & Brisbane City Council assurance that a food safety program is well managed.
We use SGS - the world's leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company to implement our HACCP program.
Safe Food Queensland
Safe Food Qld regulates the primary production and processing of meat, eggs, dairy, seafood and horticulture in Queensland, Australia.
A Food Safety Program (FSP) is a document prepared by a business outlining control measures and procedures that its operation has put in place to reduce, or eliminate, significant food safety hazards (e.g. biological, physical, chemical) associated with a product that is produced or sold. An FSP provides a means to demonstrate compliance with a scheme.
Delizia’s Food Safety Scheme is monitored by Safe Food Queensland.

Regarding traces of Peanut, Tree Nuts, Milk, Soy & Wheat.
Although all our machines are very thoroughly washed in between every batch, using very strict quality control guidelines, we recommend that you avoid consuming any of our products if you have a sensitivity to Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Milk, Soy & Wheat.
